ROLLER OPERATOR

Programmed are currently seeking an experienced Roller Operator to join our civil construction crew working on major projects.

About the Role:

As a Roller Operator, you will be responsible for operating compaction equipment safely and efficiently while supporting earthworks, road construction, pavement works and associated civil activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate padfoot and smooth drum rollers in accordance with site requirements
• Conduct pre-start inspections and daily maintenance checks
• Ensure compaction targets and quality standards are achieved
• Work closely with Supervisors, Plant Operators, and Ground Crew
• Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Assist with general civil labouring duties when required

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience operating rollers on civil construction and road projects
• Current Roller Ticket / Statement of Attainment
• White Card
• Experience working on road, pavement, earthworks or infrastructure projects
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Desirable:

• HR or MR Driver's Licence
• Additional plant tickets (Loader, Excavator, Moxy, Grader, etc.)
• Traffic Control tickets
